GSM Bugs are a relatively new tool in the modern Spy’s toolbox, but what an addition they have become. GSM Bugs, also known as Infinity Bugs and Spy Phone Bugs have really only made their presence felt in the Spy market in the last four years. As the name suggests, these devices are based around mobile phone technology. Essentially, the stand-alone GSM Bugs are modern mobile phones with the screen, buttons and other non-essential parts stripped away providing a very compact unit with a sensitive microphone and often specialist operating software. These units are world-wide listening tools, whereas previously there was only on offer RF (Radio Frequency) Bugs that have a realistic listening range of up to 600 metres and although these other offerings (FM and UHF Bugs) were and still are effective listening devices, they have been deemed as illegal for use in the UK and EU.
GSM Bugs are these days not only stand-alone devices, but these days are found built into everyday equipment such as Double and Multi-Plug Mains Adapters. These advances mean that the GSM units are far more versatile than they ever previously were. Probably the most popular in Spy Equipment UK’s range is the GSM Double Plug Adapter. This is a working Double Plug Adapter with a GSM module and internal back up battery inside. Plug the unit into a socket and within about a minute or so the GSM unit has ‘fired up’. Dial the number of the SIM Card within and the unit opens up the microphone without any indication and this then enables the caller to listen in to the surrounding environment, a radius of several metres. Whilst plugged in, other mains equipment can be powered by the Adapter and once fully charged, if the Adapter is removed from the power socket, then the internal battery will still power the unit for up to 8 hours.
Our smallest stand alone unit, the GSM Micro, is believed to be the smallest self-contained GSM unit available. Measuring only 43mm x 35mm x 17mm, the device can be hidden almost anywhere and yet this battery-only powered unit has a standby mode of up to 6 days and a calling time of up to 6 hours, yet the audio clarity that it provides is superb.
So, when and where are these pieces of spy equipment best used. The GSM Micro and our other battery-powered units can be placed anywhere, even stuck under a chair, a desk, a table or behind a filing cabinet. We have known customers to hide the GSM micro in a variety of places, even in the lining of a handbag! As regards the Mains-powered units, these of course are ideal for long-term deployment. We even have a mains-powered extension that with intelligent sound activation that calls you. By replacing an existing Double Adapter, Extension Lead or Double Wall Socket with one of our devices, nobody would ever suspect. To keep tabs on a wayward employee, a cheating partner or even your children, then GSM Bugs provide the perfect modern day solution.

Here at Spy Equipment UK we have decided to give our potential customers advice on how, when and it is best to use our products. Some potential buyers may be unaware as to how they can benefit from items in our range and some will be uncertain as to how to decide on what product or products are best for them.
Part of our Customer base includes private individuals who more often than not have potential maritial or relationship problems that point towards their partner cheating on them. In a previous feed we gave an outline of certain key indicators that a cheating partner will give away. Working overtime, taking up a new hobby that takes them away from the home and more social nights out. All of these will invariably involve them using their vehicle and to a certain extent, dependant upon the nature of the affair that they are having, the location of their vehicle will give a pattern of where they are going to meet with ‘that other man or woman’. This is where Spy Equipment UK’s GPS Evolution Vehicle Tracker comes in. This tracking device can be placed completely underneath a vehicle, where it can be attached using the two very strong magnets that are on the outside of the GPS Evolution. The unit is very compact and looks rather like a vehiucle component and is therefore not ‘out-of-place’ under a vehicle. Once it is in place then monitoring of the device can be achieved remotely from any Internet-connected computer or from any WAP enabled mobile phone, so it is easy to keep up-to-date. Because the data sent out by the unit is stored on our secure tracking platform database, then it is possible to check historic data, when convenient, rather than having to monitor constantly, although it is easy to do both if required.
The GPS Evolution gives incredible results and is simple to use, even for those who are not technically-minded and with Spy Equipment UK also offering a short-term hire service, GPS vehicle tracking is an affordable solution to suit any pocket.

Official news reports have just revealed a British Spy Fiasco. The new head of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), Sir John Sawyers, has been subject of a security breach after his Wife posted personal details about him and the family on the social networking site Facebook. The Facebook profile was hurriedly withdrawn when it was discovered that details of where the live, where they holiday, who their friends and family are were found to be included.
Facebook membership and that of other social networking sites has grown rapidly over the past two years. Once it was the preserve of young adults, in their later teens and twenties, but now membership has expanded to include adults into their thirties, forties and beyond. Behind the benefits lies a more sinister trend. As with Friends Reunited, Facebook and other networking sites have become the hotbed medium for illicit affairs, but suddenly discovering your partner on one of these sites without your knowledge is just one sign. Here are other common factors:
- Your partner has suddenly started taking pride in their appearance
- They have started to work more overtime or shift working time has changed
- Their work suddenly involves training courses that keep them away overnight regularly
- They spend more solitary time on the Internet in chat rooms
- They take up a new hobby that takes them outside the home
- They are very guarded with their phone or you suddenly discover a second phone
- They have recently started to socialise with ‘friends’ on nights out
- They have gone off sex
- They suddenly want more sex or want to try out new things sexually
These are some of the signs, but the list goes on. Now more than ever it is possible to conduct your own investigation prior to calling in an expert. Spy Equipment UK offer a wide variety of solutions. Monitor their phone, monitor their whereabouts, monitor their computer activity, install a camera or a listening device to capture the evidence. Taking control of your own destiny not only empowers you, but also makes such financial sense….

Spy Equipment UK have just released their latest covert tracking solution for hire and what a success it has already been! The latest in vehicle tracking devices is now available to hire rather than buy. After many requests by prospective customers, we are now offering our GPS Evolution magnetic tacking device for hire for 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks.
This special bespoke tracking solution is the latest and most powerful vehicle surveillance solution on the market today, but with a purchase price of just under £730.00 the unique unit was out of reach of some customers who only had a short-term need for such a powerful tracking solution, which is normally the preserve of specialised users including the Police and Private Investigators. Spy Equipment UK have therefore decided to make the device available for short-term hire to cater for the needs of the temporary user. At £150 + VAT for a weeks hire, the unit is now accessible to a wider range of customers, who would otherwise have had to manage without the benefits that the GPS Evolution brings.
Already in the first few days of release, numerous customers have taken up the offer. So, if you have a need for the best covert tracking solution available, then why not log on to Spy Equipment UK to secure yours now.

Spy Equipment UK is proud to announce the addition of a downloadable catalogue for those customers who wish to have a paper-based brochure of all of the products that we offer.
The addition of the catalogue was as a result of repeated requests from past and present customers. Some customers are unable to access the Internet very often and as a result it is often difficult for them to spend enough time to peruse our entire product range. Now this is made easy with the addition of the catalogue. The forty four page PDF document gives pictures, brief descriptions, prices and product codes in a simple format. All or part sections of the catalogue can be printed to suit an individuals needs. For more detailed information on a product a re-visit to the Spy Equipment site will reveal further detail. On some products a data sheet has been added, again in a PDF downloadable and printable format. Only a small amount of products have data sheets at present, but this is being increased on a regular basis.
The Spy Equipment UK Catalogue is easy to find. Simply click on the link located on the lower left of each page to obtain your copy.

Spy Equipment UK has just launched their most sophisticated counter-surveillance device yet. Commonly known as a Bug Sweeper, the SweepHawk Plus, which is one of the most comprehensive RF detection tools available, offers additional facilities to the, previous benchmark countermeasures system, the SweepHawk.
The Plus version does not supersede the original SweepHawk, which is still available, but instead it provides additional probes that are required to detect certain eaves-dropping equipment that form part of the armoury of a real technical surveillance specialist. The frequency scan range of the SweepHawk Plus has been extended up to 8 GHz to enable detection of the much specialised transmitting devices that are not so commonly available. In addition to this, the new system offers an Infrared/Laser Probe to enable detection of listening devices that use this very uncommon system. In addition to this is a Mains-Carrier Probe, which can detect a transmitter located anywhere along a mains power wiring system.
This entire system has been reworked to give improved sensitivity and pick up and is now able to disseminate between Analogue and Digital signals, thereby enabling easier identification of spurious frequencies present during a ‘bug sweep’. Contained in a purpose-built stylish case, the SweepHawk Plus provides a fully portable system that meets the latest requirements of the most professional Counter-Surveillance Specialist.

The Pentagon has revealed plans for a surveillance aircraft that will fly more than 12 miles above the ground for 10 years without landing. The 450ft-long (137-metre) craft will be developed at a cost of $400m (£260m), with a prototype one-third of that length due to be ready by 2014.
The US military hopes the blimp, floating 12 miles above a surveillance area in near space, will give it a better understanding of events on the ground. It will be equipped with a radar system able to provide unprecedented detail over a wide area from hundreds of miles away. The craft - called Isis - will be powered by hydrogen fuel cells recharged by its own solar panels, and will be filled with helium, which will give the craft its shape.
Spy Equipment UK utilises up-to-date imagery taken by Satellite to give a clear and comprehensive visual representation of vehicle tracking systems. Spy Equipment UK have now added three new trackers to the line up. The GPS Matriax is a superb asset tracker with a battery life of up to 7 years giving excellent flexibility of use. The GPS Revolution is believed to be the smallest live GPS tracker available. This unit with give live tracking reports every 15 seconds and is the perfect short-term deployment asset tracking device. Why wait until 2014 when you could have your own eye-in-the-sky.

The ongoing worldwide financial crisis has affected the personal lives of the general public on many levels. Even when making decisions about resolving difficulties in their personal relationships, the average member of the public has had to become more savvy about how they spend their hard-earned cash. During the early weeks and months of the ‘credit crunch’ difficult decisions had to be taken by those whose marriage or relationship was affected by suspicions of infidelity. The result at this time for most was to remain in an unhappy situation because financial restrictions meant that an expensive separation or divorce did not seem viable.
More recently, aggrieved partners have turned Amateur Detective in a bid to gather evidence to resolve their personal circumstances. The result has been a shift from clients instructing Private Detectives to spy on their partners to clients taking matters into their own hands to solve their situation on a budget. Women in particular tend to be willing to turn amateur ‘Pivate-Eye’ prior to looking for spy gadgets to resolve the matter outright.
Spy Equipment UK has recognised the trend and as such continually strives to make the comprehensive range of spy equipment on offer more accessible to everyone. It is often difficult to make a decision on what product to buy. Fear of new technology is commonplace, so Spy Equipment UK has added videos to many products showing their ease of use. Add to this excellent advice over the telephone or by e-mail and then anybody has the chance to turn Private Detective at a fraction of the cost of employing a real one.

Business leaders are reporting an increase in theft from the workplace and of goods in transit. Statistics confirm that there was a marked increase just leading up to ‘The Credit Crunch’ and this has continued to increase throughout the period of economic downturn. As businesses start shedding staff and margins become tighter, the increase in losses due to theft and fraud have added insult to injury.
Spy equipment UK has noted an increase in enquiries from business leaders who are aiming to reduce their losses to effectively ensure that matters do not spiral out of control. Within the work environment Employers have singled-out covert and hidden camera installations as an effective evidence gathering tool in the fight against theft within the workplace. Logistics companies are focusing on vehicle and asset tracking devices for trailers and expensive merchandise in transit. GSM Cameras that allow remote viewing into the Drivers Cab and Trailers are being chosen as the perfect remote monitoring device protecting Drivers and assets in transit.
Spy Equipment purchases to protect company assets and integrity have not just been limited to spy cameras and tracking equipment. Voice Recorders, Computer Monitoring Equipment and slick GSM Listening Devices have all been snapped up by Employers looking at clawing back the advantage. Other Employers seem at a loss as to what action to take, but whilst they procrastinate, the losses must surely be mounting…

Here at Spy Equipment UK we are continually evaluating our pricing structure. Customers sometimes consider that some items that we stock have a relatively high price compared to other similar products on the market and our products are invariably higher in price than everyday electronic products available at high street shops. So, why is this?
There are a number of things to consider here. The product range that is offered by Spy Equipment UK has been specifically chosen only after rigorous testing and evaluation to ensure that we can offer items of quality with ease of use. This means that if you see a similar product to one on our site that is offered substantially cheaper elsewhere, then it will almost certainly be a lower quality item. You may find similar products for sale on auction sites, but it should be remembered that Spy Equipment UK offer a guarrantee, expertise and of course support over the telephone or via e-mail.
So why are Spy Shop products generally more highly-priced than other non-spy electronic products offered at high street stores? Well, you will not find products at the high street chains that can give the same facilities that specialised spy equipment items can. Generally available electronic goods are manufactured in the millions whereby the specialist-built spy equipment products are manufactured in the thousands so design and tooling costs over much smaller batch runs make the end product price much higher - so in summary what you are buying are a range of high quality specialist-built products that cannot be purchased at the high street electrical retailers.
