Here at Spy Equipment UK we are continually evaluating our pricing structure. Customers sometimes consider that some items that we stock have a relatively high price compared to other similar products on the market and our products are invariably higher in price than everyday electronic products available at high street shops. So, why is this?
There are a number of things to consider here. The product range that is offered by Spy Equipment UK has been specifically chosen only after rigorous testing and evaluation to ensure that we can offer items of quality with ease of use. This means that if you see a similar product to one on our site that is offered substantially cheaper elsewhere, then it will almost certainly be a lower quality item. You may find similar products for sale on auction sites, but it should be remembered that Spy Equipment UK offer a guarrantee, expertise and of course support over the telephone or via e-mail.
So why are Spy Shop products generally more highly-priced than other non-spy electronic products offered at high street stores? Well, you will not find products at the high street chains that can give the same facilities that specialised spy equipment items can. Generally available electronic goods are manufactured in the millions whereby the specialist-built spy equipment products are manufactured in the thousands so design and tooling costs over much smaller batch runs make the end product price much higher - so in summary what you are buying are a range of high quality specialist-built products that cannot be purchased at the high street electrical retailers.

Since starting life as a Private Investigator in April 2000, I was constantly asked for various types of tracking device. Requests from Clients ranged from a tracking device to place under a vehicle to a small enough piece of tracking equipment that could be concealed in a persons clothing. Since the 1970’s any major film release with Spy connotations would include the use of incredibly small tracking devices and as a result, the Publics’ belief has been that this type of equipment was available if you knew where to look or who to ask.
Up until the advent of GPS Tracking, any tracking devices relied upon the use of Radio Frequency transmitting devices in conjunction with a Receiver to give a location position based on signal strength and direction. GPS Trackers for the commercial fleet sector brought vehicle tracking into a new dimension of accuracy, but with advances in technology tracking units have now become more sensitive, versatile and at the same time, substantially smaller.
In 2005 the first proper ‘under-vehicle’ magnetic tracking device was commercially available at a price in the region of £5000.00 including mapping software. In the latter part of 2006 a much more affordable ‘under-vehicle’ tracking solution was released and although fairly crude, it brought covert trackers to a much wider audience. Since this time, further advances in GPS, GSM, Computer and Battery Technology have resulted in smaller, more powerful devices coupled to incredibly comprehensive Web-based tracking consoles.
Spy Equipment UK’s TracWolf Advance has just been upgraded with a new more powerful Battery Pack giving, on average, between five and six weeks of tracking between recharges, yet still maintaining live tracking updates every 15 seconds when on the move. And coupled to our cutting-edge tracking platform, there really is nothing else available to beat it on performance and value.

Spy Equipment UK are ready to unleash two new tracking devices onto the market that will almost revolutionise GPS Tracking. Consistently, the main questions asked by our customers are:
- What is the size of the device?
- How long will the battery last?
- Can I connect to the device live?
One of the new tracking devices, although extremely small, has a potential battery life of up to 7 years. This very slimline unit has a variety of intelligent features that makes it perfect for long-term installation in Caravans, Trailers, Plant/Construction equipment. The second tracking unit is, we believe, the smallest live GPS Tracking Device available on the market! Although this unit has limited battery life, it is ideal for tracking of assets, briefcases, bags, packages and many other applications, where concealment of a tracking unit is of the utmost importance.
Both of the new trackers have the ability to track live and give full history reports, operating on Spy Equipment UK’s own comprehensive web-based tracking platform.

Spy Equipment UK are just about to release a new range of Asset Trackers to compliment their existing range of Vehicle Tracking Devices and personal/VIP Trackers. . The new units will operate on the existing tracking platform used by the TracWolf tracking units. This will enable existing customers to add to their range of tracking devices without the need to get used to new software.
Both units will be Quad Band, so are fit for deployment and use worldwide. One of the units has the ability to enter a deep-sleep mode to save battery life. The result is a potential battery life of up to 3 years. This device is perfect for periodic tracking of assets on long-haul journeys where frequent reporting is not needed and is perfect for caravans, Trailers, etc.. The second unit is extremely small and designed for short term deployment of up to 3 days, where regular locations are required to ensure a prized asset is not lost, or can be recovered if stolen in transit.

Spy Equipment UK have just announced the release of their latest Computer Surveillance product. The ‘next generation’ in Keyloggers, the Spy Cobra is used in a completely different way to the traditional keyloggers that have been around for a number of years now.
The traditional units are inserted between the keyboard wire and the base unit of a PC. The traditional Keystroke Loggers would record every key that was typed on the keyboard on which it was installed. The information would be retained on the internal ‘flash drive’ memory. These units have restrictions - They cannot be used on wireless keyboards, they cannot be used on Laptop Computers, they are not configured for Windows Vista and the Keylogger had to be left in-line and therefore was open to discovery.
The Spy Cobra unit works in a different way. It is essentially a USB stick with a flash memory and integrated software program. The software takes less than a minute to install and configure and the unit does not have to be left in the PC. Keystrokes and screenshots are stored in a stealth file on the PC being monitored. When returning to the PC being monitored, the Spy Cobra is inserted again and the information from the stealth file is then transferred from the PC onto the Spy Cobra. The information can be reviewed at leisure on a separate PC. In short, the new Spy Cobra takes Keylogging to the next stage, without any of the pitfalls of traditional keyloggers.
This unit is the perfect, affordable, tool for Parents to ‘keep an eye on’ their childrens’ Internet activity and for Employers to monitor employees who are misusing company Computers.

At the end of last month when President Obama won the right to keep his much-prized Blackberry Mobile Phone, his victory set in motion a debate that raged in both the technology and intelligence worlds. Security analysts were worried that ‘The presidents’ phone would be as vulnerable as other Blackberry’s. This prompted a complete overhaul in the way that the phone operates. It can be deemed as being the ultimate Spy-Proof Phone.
Not all phones are spy-proof like President Obamas’. Spy Phone Software has been commonplace for a number of years now and Spy equipment UK has just released the very latest range of bullet-proof spyphone software, now offering solutions to suit an even wider range of phones than ever before. The British Government recently released details of a plan to extend powers to spy on your PC. The technique, known as “remote searching” involves bugging computers in homes and offices in order to monitor website use and email traffic. The Home Office is backing proposals by the EU council of ministers to extend electronic surveillance on private property. It would allow other European nations to request surveillance by British police.
We at Spy Equipment UK realise that these proposed measures will be to safeguard against terrorists, paedophiles and organised gangs and that strict criteria will be included to guard against indiscriminate snooping.
As a leading UK spy outlet, Spy Equipment UK has a comprehensive range of PC monitoring tools to enable remote monitoring and keylogging of home and office Computers. With technology becoming more accessible to the general public, the latest solutions of this kind are simple to use for even basic Computer users.

MORE than one in four women in Dudley have used the internet to secretly spy on their other half according to research by Virgin Media. With almost 88 per cent of Brits surfing the internet daily, it’s never been easier for women to snoop on their loved ones, leading to the rise of an ‘iSpy generation’. The research reveals the fairer sex in the borough are almost twice as likely to spy on their partners using the internet than their male counterparts.
Yorkshire leads the way as the nation’s most insecure area with 30 percent of the county’s couples admitting to spying on each other via the internet, closely followed by those in the South (26 percent).
The result of this research is no surprise to us here at Spy Equipment UK. We have found that both male and female customers will invariably have attempted to check on their suspicions in a number of ways including checking the Internet activity of their partners. Here at Spy Equipment UK we know that the humble PC has become an impotant infidelity research tool. We have a range of products that take this PC Monitoring research to the next level. Until recently, both hardware and software solutions for PC activity monitoring were relatively expensive, but now, newer, more innovative and relatively inexpensive solutions are available to suit all requirements.
